DESCRIPTION:Due to winter weather conditions\, rather than parading down Washington Street\, the ‘Woodland Wonders” Community Lantern Parade is transforming into an outdoor illuminated “Wondergarden” at the Bolivar Children’s Park from 6 – 7 PM\, Saturday\, Jan 25. For those looking to put the ‘Frosty’ in FrostyFest\, the public is invited to enjoy these colorfully lit sculptural artworks up close and under a starry sky\, or from the comfort of your car as you drive by on Washington Street.\n \nHot cider and light refreshments will be served\, and there will be warming stations set up to take off the chill. Fun for all – dress warmly and wear twinkle lights to add to the merriment! Sturdy shoes recommended.\n\n\n \n\nLantern participants will assemble at the Children’s Park at 5:45 PM. Parking available in the municipal parking lot off Taylor Street\, and in the parking lot behind BCT Bank.\n \nWord in town is that mushrooms will be sprouting up all over town on Saturday. Enjoy these special “Wondergarden”- inspired dishes at Bolivar restaurants . . .\n \n
