Thank you to all of the Bolivar citizens who participated in the 2024 Spring Clean-Up Initiative! This was such a success, we over filled two 30-ton roll-offs within a few days! Regretfully we have had to end the dumpster access early. Please note, no further dumpster access is permitted at this time. We are looking for dates to run this again in the Fall. Please contact town hall if you have any questions. Here are some local resources as well, in case you are continuing to declutter:
- The West Virginia Department of Environmental Protection will be scheduling a tire collection
event in Jefferson County in 2024, so get your tires ready! Only tires from state residents will
be accepted, and you will need a WV ID ready when you sign in. A ten-tire limit per person will
be strictly enforced. Tires must be off the rim. Only tires from cars or light trucks will be
accepted. Or, call (304) 326-0086 to schedule a drop-off. - Is there an old junked car parked on your property? The Clunker Junker services the town of
Bolivar, and even better… they PAY CASH! The Clunker Junker makes it easy to sell your old car
online. They will come to you, pay you on the spot, and tow it away for free. Get an offer in
