The Bolivar Town Council will fill a vacancy on Council through appointment at its next regular meeting on  October 1.

As stipulated in the Town’s Charter, the appointee must be entitled to vote for members of Council, be an owner of real estate in Bolivar, and be willing to take an oath to faithfully and impartially discharge the duties of the office, and to support the Constitution of the United States and the Constitution of the State of West Virginia. Letters of interest can be left at or sent to the Town office.
